vPPO Release Notes 9/2/25

Release date: September 2, 2025 Minimum Due Date

What’s new

New to vPPO is the ability to apply a minimum due date, based on ad types.  When enabled, the pop up calendar will limit the available due date via a range specified in the ad type profile.

Who can enable it

This is an ad type setting. A Local Admin or the vCreative Help Desk can turn it on by setting the allowed lead time in the ad type profile.

How it works

  • The range limit is set in the ad type profile, in the example above the minimum due date is one business day, the minimum start date is 2 business days.  During order entry the popup calendar will only allow dates to be selected after the minimum allowed range.
  • Dates not allowed will appear to be “blacked-out.” Selectable dates will be visible with a white numeral, gray tile and will be clickable.

Scope & Limitations

  • The available dates are only limited when the status entered is Needs Writing or Needs Production.
  • The date range is calculated on the following criteria: the day that the order is entered is not counted.   Only business days are considered, so the due date can never fall on a weekend or holiday.  For example, a spot with a 1 day Due Date limit, if entered on Monday, would not allow the same day (Monday) or next day (Tuesday) as a Due Date. The earliest “Due Date” would be Wednesday.
  • If both Due Date and Start Date have limits, the start date limit value must always be equal or greater than the Due Date limit value..

Why it helps

  • Reduces last-minute order submission
