Quickly Find Any Spot in vPPO Using Your Search Tool

All orders entered in vPPO will always remain in vPPO. And you can find them with the search tool.

Search Tool Basics
The platform search tool enables permanent access to stored orders via sidebar navigation. Filtering options include client name, code, title, and card ID.

Users can refine searches by station access, ad type, market, and approval status. Advanced attributes allow filtering by scheduling status and file availability.

Efficient Search Execution
Searching by client or title provides the quickest results. Selecting specific items from the drop down menu facilitates rapid order retrieval.

  • vPPO Search Tool Overview: All orders created in the system are stored permanently (even those which were deleted). They note that the search tool is located on the right side of the screen, providing a quick way for users to access specific orders.
  • General and Personnel Search Parameters: Clicking the drop-down arrow in the search bar reveals various filtering options, including client name, title, code, and card ID. Under the traffic option, users can search by contract or estimate number, while the people option allows them to filter by creator or the specific PC assigned to an order, with the ability to restrict results to only their own items.
  • Station, Market, and Approval Search Parameters: Users can filter search results by the stations they have access to, ad types, and specific markets. Additionally, search parameters include filtering by status, such as active orders, and by approval requirements for both spots and scripts, allowing users to see what requires or does not require approval.
  • Attribute and File Search Parameters: There are advanced options under the attributes and files tab, where users can narrow results by whether a spot was sold or is a spec spot. The basics tab allows filtering by scheduling status—specifically whether an order is scheduled, not scheduled, dubbed, uploaded, or not uploaded. Furthermore, users can filter by files to determine if an order has a final spot attached or to specifically locate orders that are missing these files.
  • Executing a Quick Search: Searching by client or title is typically the fastest way to locate an order. They provide an example of typing "John's" to trigger a drop-down menu for "John's fish tacos," which allows the user to select the client and click the search tool to retrieve all orders created for that specific client.
