You can archive prizes and packages that are no longer relevant, sending them to the Prize Archive so that they no longer clutter your vPromotions Prize Closet. Once archived, a prize can be restored to the Prize Closet if needed.
Archived Prizes:
- will not show in prize assignment drop-downs in the Wizard
- will not show if searched by Prize Name at the Front Desk
- will not show in the Prize Closet
- will show in Plays and On Air if already assigned to an active Contest (not recommended)
- will show at the Front Desk when looking up a winner's Unclaimed Prizes
- will show in Reports
Packages will automatically be archived if all of the prizes in the package are archived.
Manually Archiving
Prizes and packages can be easily, individually archived by clicking the Archive icon in the Actions column for that item.
Manually Restoring
To see your archived prizes and packages, click on the Show Archived button on the upper right of your Prize Closet, adjacent to the Unshipped Prizes button.
To restore an archived prize, click the Restore icon in the Actions columns for that item.
Manually restoring each prize is the only method of restoring, so be particularly careful when Bulk Archiving.
Bulk Archiving
By checking the box to the left of multiple prizes or packages, you can then use the Bulk Actions button to archive multiple prizes or packages at once.
Auto Archiving Expired Prizes
Expired prizes can be automatically archived through settings available only to Firm Admins.
In Settings / Firm / Firm Options, check the Auto Archive Expired Prizes checkbox, enter the number of Days after expired until Auto Archive, and then click the Save Changes button. Prizes will automatically be archived that many days after they Expire.
