      vPromo Settings: Winner Email Template

      The Winner Email Template is where you create the template for the automatic winner email. This tab is visible only to users with Promotions Director, Program Director or General Manager ability.

      Winner Emails are automatic emails which are sent to your winner as soon as they are assigned to a prize.

      Winner Email Template Set-up

      Every Prize or Prize Package has a beautiful HTML Winner Email that is sent to the Winner after the Prize is assigned to them. 

      Promotions and Program Directors can create standard email templates in Settings/Promo/Winner Email Template, and then use those formats to create a different email message for each Prize or Prize Package. The Prize Package Winner Email supersedes any emails that are set up for the Prizes inside the Package.

      1. Click + New Email Template (either Winner or Prize Package). You will need a Template for each Station and Fulfillment Method 
      2. Design an amazing looking email that is Specific to that Station and Fulfillment Method.
      3. Click Save.

      When creating a prize, you will have the checkbox option on whether you would like the Winner Email to automatically be sent out to your winners for that prize. Once you check the box for the feature option, the default Winner Email will populate based on the fulfillment method chosen for that prize. In this view, when adding the Winner Email to a specific prize, you can edit the template to be more specific to that prize if you like.

      Prize-Specific Winner Email Editing

      Each email can be activated and edited from within the Prize/Package information, and each can include form-letter fields for Winner Name, Prize Information, Fulfillment Information, etc. By default, Winner Emails are not activated. They can be activated by checking the Use Email Template box.

      1. Check the Use Winner Email Template box.
      2. Edit the Winner Email for the specific Prize or Prize Package using the extensive WYSIWYG editor.
      3. Click Save.

      From Email Address

      Email sent from vPromotions will come from an address that is your station name combined with "@your-favorite-station.com". This is to avoid having these email getting flagged as phishing emails.
