As Tom likes to say, "there are a lot of small gotchas" when dealing with autodub. This is an attempt to catalog as many of them as possible. This page should be used in conjunction with the Troubleshooting Autodub FAQ to drill down to the core of the issue. As always, hunt down Julian on Slack or send him an email (julian.robles@vcreativeinc.com) if you are truly perplexed by an autodub issue. If he can't fix it, at least he can stare at it with you and whistle in amazement.
- All Cumulus stations run OpX and should be configured for the same. When using the API tester, always search by firm ID, not by the station. There is no scrubber unit for these stations. ALL of the stations will be running two helper programs on the OpX server; Transfer and Convert (or T&C) and VCAutodub. Both of those should be running on the server to facilitate autodubbing.
- All Townsquare stations use AIM from Mr. Master and are configured to dub by station and not by firm. You will need to enter call letters into the API tester to get a valid result when troubleshooting these stations.
- All of Audacy uses Wide Orbit as their automation and all use the WO integration path. They have a scrubber, task scheduler and log being generated every minute.
- Radio One has its Wide Orbit integration set up on "jump boxes" and not the actual WO central server. Make sure the jump box has access to the correct ingest folder on the CS.
- Radio One uses jump boxes, Audacy uses scrubbers. Same bloody thing...
