Our system enforces a eligibility window for contest winners to ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all participants. This article explains how the timing works and how to adjust the settings if needed.
When Does the Day Countdown Start?
The system counts for example 30 full days starting the day after a user wins. This is because the system operates on a 24-hour clock to ensure consistent and accurate enforcement.
Example:
-
Winner date: June 16, 2025
-
Day 1 of the 30-day period: June 17, 2025
-
Eligible to win again: July 17, 2025
The winner cannot win again until the 31st day, which, in this example, is July 17.
Want the Winner to Be Eligible on the 30th Day?
If you prefer that winners become eligible on the 30th day instead of the 31st, we recommend adjusting the eligibility rule in the system to 29 days.
This slight change accommodates the system’s 24-hour clock structure while maintaining your intended eligibility window.

Notes & Best Practices
-
This rule applies by individual contest settings unless specifically overridden by sister icon to copy it over to other stations accounts.
-
You can customize eligibility windows on a contest-by-contest basis if needed, but this general setting provides a consistent default.
