[HOW TO] Add Anchor Points in Article Text

 

STEP ONE

Click the Code Editor icon () and make bookmarks in the code  where you want the anchors to link to. A bit of text makes the most sense to wrap this tag around, but it could also link to an image.

Create your new links. If they’re at the top of the page containing the bookmarks and you just want to jump down to that section, make a little list and link each one to its new id. T he # sign is what makes this work, don’t forget it:

If you want to link from a completely different page to one of your new anchors, create a regular link to the article, then get into the code editor to add your anchor to the very end of the page’s url:
