Set up the ability to create keyword contest in vPromotions and have the keywords automatically appear in Text Groove!
vPromotions has an integration with Text Groove that makes scheduling, executing, and fulfilling a text-to-win contest so much more simple!
To connect your vPromotions workflow with your Text Groove account, please contact sales@vcreativeinc.com. You'll also need to contact your Text Groove representative at support@textgroove.com to request the integration.
Once you have the vPromotions Text Groove Integration activated in Text Groove and vPromotions, here's how to set it up:
Link Stations
In Text Groove
- Log into your Text Groove account and click on Apps
- Choose vPromotions Integration
- At the top of the page, you'll see the "Code for vPromotions" in a gray box. Click the copy icon next to the box to copy the integration code for the station.
In vPromotions: Settings / Firm / Stations
- Check the Use Text Groove checkbox for the station you are setting up
- When the "Enter your Text Groove token for [Your Station]" box pops up, paste in your Text Groove code using CTRL+V or right mouse click and choose "Paste as Plain Text."
- Click Verify Account and you should see a green notification in vPromotions lett you know that you can now use Text Groove for that station.
In vPromotions: Settings / vPromo / PRF Categories
- Choose or Create a new PRF Category for Text Groove Keyword Contests.
- Check the "Use Text Groove" checkbox
- Click Save
Now that your Text Groove Text-to-Win PRF Category is set up, that is the a PRF Category that will be used exclusively for Text Groove Text-to-Win contests. Plays in the PRF Category will not show an Assign Winner icon. Instead, the winner is assigned in Text Groove and then appears in vPromotions.
