Scope & Limitations
-
There are options for three note tabs, Production, Traffic and Digital.
- The Digital tab will only apply on Stream or Display ad types.
- Firms can specify which note section is, or is not, carried over with the copy process.
Why it helps
-
This setting removes old, out of date instructions that are often confusing.
Reset Production House Outsource for Auto Dub Clients
New to vPPO is the ability to reset the firm outsource when a spot request advances to Needs Dubbed status. This benefits Auto Dub Firms who outsource to Production Houses. Previously, outsourced spots were not exposed for Auto Dub hindering the process.
Who can enable it
This is a firm setting that can only be enabled by the vCreative Help Desk.
How it works
- Once a spot is approved, or reaches the Needs Dubbed status, the outsource will reset to the originating firm.
- This will allow the spot to be exposed to Auto Dub for the originating firm.
Scope & Limitations
- This will only affect spots that have been outsourced to Production Houses.
- The outsource will reset once the spot has advanced to Needs Dubbed status.
Why it helps
- This will now ensure the Auto Dub process works for vPPO Production House clients.
Marketron Integration Firms Only
Ignore End date on Marketron Contracts
You can now choose to ignore the end date on contracts that land in your Marketron Drafts folder.
Who can enable it
-
This option is available ONLY for firms that are enabled for the Marketron Integration.
How it works
-
When enabled, the system will no longer list the contract’s end date from Marketron. Instead, sales can set the desired end date directly on the production order.
Scope and limitations
-
This feature is intended for situations where Marketron orders span long periods (such as quarterly or annual schedules) but the production order applies to a shorter campaign. It does not alter how other contract details are processed.
How it helps
-
This provides sales teams with greater flexibility, ensuring production orders reflect the correct campaign timeframe while still supporting longer-term Marketron contracts.
