Updated Request (Quick Order) Form Design
All new requests still begin in the top left corner. But here are some highlights of what has changed.
- :00 Now users select the ad type before the form opens. This is because we will be adding other types of production requests in the near future, such as the ability to build a campaign.
- :20 The layout retains some key features, with the form on the left and a summary view of all request lines within the order showing in a list view table to the right.
- :30 Adjust the ad type from the dropdown in the header of the form. Enter the order on the left. The form fields will remain as they are now, so there is no need to worry about entry time or additional information.
- :48 The new request form is collapsible if preferred. Keep in mind that not all fields will be visible from the list view only the basic information of the request. The left bracket on your keyboard is a hotkey that expands and collapses the form.
- 1:13 A red circle with an exclamation point on a request line means there are required fields that need attention. Hovering over that icon will show a list of everything necessary to submit the request.
- 1:30 The Title, ISCI/Ad-ID, Dates, Length, Rotation and Stations can be edited from the right side table. This will also update the form selected on the left.
- 1:40 To add another request, click "Add Request" on the existing request line. If it is a different ad type, select the new ad type from the header of the form then enter any required fields that are different.
- 2:05 There may be gray cells in the summary view of the order. This could be because the field is not applicable to the form for the ad type selected or, that you do not have abilities to enter the information for the field.
- 2:15 You can delete a request line from the form individually or all at once by selecting "Delete all drafts" at the bottom of the screen. This will clear the entire order if you need to start fresh.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Bug fixed the missing script history when viewing the script from the list view slide out. If changes are made to the script, you should now be able to click edit and find all versions of the script incase you need to switch back to a previous version.
