Editing prizes in the prize closet
In vPromotions, you can edit your prize information. You maybe not be able to edit all information if that prize has already been assigned to a winner, but most of the information can be edited. So if that client comes back to you with another 5 pairs of tickets you can give away to that big show, don't create a new prize, just edit the quantity of the one you have!

Editing Prize Information

- Accessing and Editing Prizes: Users can edit prize information, including quantity, value, or fulfillment (delivery) methods, by navigating to the prize closet. To access this, they need to hover over their name in the upper right corner of the page and then choose Prize Closet. Then locate the specific prize, such as a $100 gift card, to edit. Once the correct item is found, the user clicks the edit pencil in the actions column to apply changes.
- Details which can be edited even if a prize has been assigned to a winner are: Prize Type, Total Quantity, Expiration Date, Prize in House, Description, Fulfillment method, Fulfillment notes, Require SS#, Request Additional Docs and Send winners an email when assigned.
- If you need to change the prize value and the prize has already been claimed, the best practice is: 1. Unclaim the prize 2. Remove that winner from the play assignment 3. Edit the prize value and then 4. Reassign the winner and go through the claim process again. This will ensure the winner has signed the paperwork reflecting the true value of the prize. If you need to change the prize value and the prize has not been claimed but has been assigned, run through steps 2-4.
- Unclaiming a prize can be done (if you have unclaim ability) in the plays tab inside the details of the PRF the winner is assigned to. Look under the Actions column for the icon to unclaim a prize. If you don't have the ability to unclaim a prize please reach out to the vCreative support team.
- Finalizing Prize Settings and Support: It is important to set accurate expiration dates, specifically advising that for concert prizes, the expiration should be the day of the concert rather than beforehand. After making all necessary adjustments, the user must click save to apply their changes.
