vPPO Quick Tip! Would you like to delete some unneeded drafts? The process is simple!

Drafts are designed to save information. Maybe you would like to start working on a new production order but you don't have all the information yet to actually submit it. You can start on it and the vPPO system will automatically save your work so you can come back to it later. However, if you have built up drafts you don't need, you can easily delete them.

  • Purpose of Drafts: Drafts allow you to start working on a production order when you do not have all the necessary information to submit it yet. The system automatically saves your progress up to that point, allowing you to return to the drafts folder later, complete the missing information, and submit the order.
  • How Drafts are Created: A draft is automatically started every time you click the "new quick order" button, which can lead to an accumulation of unneeded drafts over time.
  • Deleting a Single Draft: To delete an individual draft, navigate to the drafts folder, find the draft, go to the "status and tasks" column, click the drop-down arrow, and select "delete".
  • Deleting Multiple Selected Drafts: To delete multiple drafts at once, select the checkboxes for the specific drafts you want to remove, click the drop-down arrow in the "status and tasks" column for one of them, and select "delete".
  • Deleting All Drafts: To clear out all drafts on the page, check the "select all" option to highlight every draft, click the drop-down arrow, and select "delete".
