New Features & Enhancements
Update multiple dates with the Bulk Actions feature
Previously, updating dates on a request had to be done from each individual request line. Now, if you have multiple requests that need to be updated to the same dates use the Bulk Actions function by selecting more than one request. For instance, if due dates on multiple requests need to be pushed back a week or start dates have been postponed.
The bulk actions option will only be available if you have multiple requests selected.
Date fields will auto-fill if they are the same date for each request.
If they are not the same date for each request the fields will be blank.
Editing modules will warn for unsaved changes
vPro will now warn you of any unsaved changes when exiting an editing window without saving first. This will prevent data loss and time spent re-entering.
“Are you sure you want to close the sidebar? Unsaved changes will be lost.”
If you do not want to lose your changes, click the x in the upper right side of the pop up message.
Improvement to List View
Performance enhancements have been made to enable faster display of data when scrolling through the List View page. Also, the data ellipses (...) have been replaced with the basic information of each request like the advertiser name and dates. This basic information will display until the spot data has fully loaded.
Time Logging
For Ad Types that need to track time spent for each job, vPro provides Time Logging capabilities that allow your team to record time spent or quantities, such as voice overs provided, for each request. This is configurable by a local admin (typically a Production Director) under the vPro Ad Types setting in the left-navigation bar.
- Click on the Time Logging button at the top of the table.
- In the right slideout you can set up the list of descriptions for each task name that need to be tracked.
- Add instructions like the type of data that needs to be recorded (i.e. hours/minutes spent, quantities of graphics, voiceovers, music tracks etc…)
- Choose the type of input fields for those descriptions.
5. Each Task name can also include a rate charged based on the time or quantity entered.
You can enter the rate once you select the User Input Type.
Click ‘Add new rate’ if you don’t see the choice you’re looking for in the drop-down menu
Once a job has been marked completed, the time logging form will slide out from the right and the assigned person will choose the Task Name and record their data as shown below.
After time is logged a link will appear in the files column showing all jobs that have recorded time data.
Please contact the Help desk for assistance with getting your Ad Types setup for time logging.
Ability to add files from the Advertiser Landing Page
Clients that have been given credentials to the Advertiser Landing Page can also be given access to attach files to existing spots shared with them. To turn on this ability for a client go to the Clients list under Settings in the left navigation. Search for the client and click the Lock icon in the Actions column.
In the Landing Page Options window there is now an “Allow File Uploads” option. Set the option to Yes. Next, choose the file type for client provided files. ALPS Client File is the recommended file type. Click save when done.
When your client logs in, they will see all spots that they have access to view and the ability to load files to those spots that need to be shared with the production team.
