Copy

Using the Action Bar to copy a request is a very simple way to save time by not starting a new request from scratch. This process is most often used for two cases:

  1. A previous request is no longer active but is going to run/air/be used again
  2. A previous request is very similar to what now needs to be submitted

Whichever the case, selecting some requests and clicking Copy will make a duplicate of that past request to then be modified.

The Copy process starts with a summary of all requests being copied, one or many, and their per-request options. Depending on some settings decided by managers, you may not always have the ability to copy files or other custom fields and labels such as "Cart ID" or "House #"

Clicking on "Finish" will take the requests back to the Quick Order form to be updated. Depending on your group's usage and industry, the copy process will be configured to clear out or forget certain fields. This is established by managers to make sure the new requests being created do not cause confusion in the workflow.

Should multiple requests from different orders and advertisers be copied at once, the Copy tool will stay visible until all copies are processed and submitted. The "Undo" button can also be used to back out of the Copy process.
