User Roles

Every vPro account starts out with the Role assigned to it during the registration process. These roles are further modified with the Abilities set in that user's Account settings.

When a user requests a vPro account on the vPro Sign Up Page, they are asked to select their "role" or the closest match. This choice helps the vPro staff in charge of reviewing and approving accounts to give them the best starting set of views and settings. While these are not all the possible roles, it is typically a good starting place for new accounts. Furthermore, not all roles will be used in any given market. Depending on the existing workflow and intended usage of vPro some may never be used and only a few are ever assigned to new accounts.
