My Topaz Signature Pad Won't Work

If your Topaz Signature Pad is working with a "test page" but not in vPromotions, it is likely because vPromotions is a web application, and the installation software that is included with the Signature Pad does not work in web applications.

NOTE: It is possible that when browsers update, you may need to uninstall and reinstall your Topaz SigWeb software.

Here is how to fix that:

  1. Remove any and all Topaz software that you may have on the computer.
  2. Download the Topaz SigWeb installer at: www.topazsystems.com/software/sigweb.exe.
    (You may need to copy the URL and paste into your browser address field).
  3. Before installing, be sure to close all open browsers (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
  4. Run the Topaz SigWeb installer.
    Note: Do not connect your signature pad until installation is complete.
  5. Connect your Signature Pad and test in a vPromotions Release Form.
  6. Once installed, you will see two buttons below the signature fields: "Sign" and "Clear"
  7. Click "Sign" to activate signing from the pad, and "Clear" to clear and sign again.
