PRF Category - Create New

Creating new PRF Categories is done by entering four pieces of information.

  1. Name​­ - This is the name that will show in the Category list when a salesperson is creating a PRF.
  2. Group​­ - The heading under which the Category will be listed. The fewer the better. You can create new Groups by typing something that is not yet listed and clicking “Create.”
  3. Type​­ - These are hard­ coded in: (More info here)
    * Contest ­ Any promotion that gives away a prize.
    * Event ­ Any promotion that is off site, even if there is a prize given away.
    * Content ­ Any promotion that is not a Contest or Event.
  4. Visibility - Choose which Abilities will see the PRF Category. (This allows you to set up Categories with shorter forms that only Programming and Promotions can see.) 

NOTE: Categories are not easily removed or changes once in use. Make sure that your PRF Categories are broad and not overly specific. Specific information can be included with each form.
