Archived
Once all creative and scheduling work is completed, a request in vPPO needs to be Archived. Archiving a spot removes it from the Inbox and other active folders, placing it in the Archived folder for future reference or use. Only when all fields in the Cart ID column have been handled will a request be automatically Archived. It is strongly recommended that requests only be archived through this automated process. Some users like Production Directors do have the ability to directly set the status to Archived. However, setting this manually may prevent other staff from seeing the order and processing it properly.
To be Archived automatically a request needs a few mandatory actions provided by the relevant users. The Cart ID for a piece of audio on AM/FM stations must be supplied. In most markets this is done by the Continuity or Traffic staff, though sometimes it is set by production or even more rarely the Account Executive.
