      Variable Cash Prize

      "Variable Cash Prize" is for contests with cash prize amounts that are unknown until the contest play occurs. This type of prize is only used if the contest is a Jackpot Contest, or if the On Air Talent will needs to enter the amount won in the Control Room.

      The way it works when it is part of a normal Recurring Contest (and not a Jackpot contest) is that is gives the on air talent a place to enter how much money with winner has won.
       
      The prize looks like this:

      1) Choose the Type: Variable Cash
      2) Enter the total budget for the contest in the Total Qty field.
      Note that the Value Ea. defaults to $1.
      3) Fill out the rest normally.
       
       
       
      In the Studio or Assigning from Plays:

      1) Click assign winner normally and find an eligible winner.
      2) A blank appears for the amount won. This amount cannot exceed the total budget left from what is entered above.
        
      When used as part of a Jackpot Contest, the amount won is managed according to the minimum and maximum jackpot amounts and the amount of the increase with each incorrect answer or non-winner.
