      How to Modify an Existing Prize

      This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to modify an existing prize, including adjustments to the total number of allocated prizes.


      Modifying an existing prize is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure all changes are made correctly.

       Step 1: Access the Promotions Tab


      1. Navigate to the Promotions tab.
      2. Click on Prize Closet, then select Prizes.

      Step 2: Update Prize Details


      In the Prizes Closet section, you can modify the following items:
      - Prize Name
      - Category
      - Prize Value
      - Number of Items
      - Description
      - Supplier
      - Expiration Date

      -Prize Type (i.e tickets, prize, cash)

      If you modify any details except for the total number of items, simply click save, and you’re finished. If you're changing the total number of items, please follow the additional steps below.

      Step 1: Adjust Total Number of Prizes


      If you're changing the total number of prizes:
      1. Click the **Add** or **Subtract** button. Then add or subtract your new total number and then click **Update**.

      Step 2: Allocation & Save Changes

      1. Before saving, go to the Allocation tab.
      2. Update the number in the field for your total allocation (e.g., change from 20 to 25 for an on-air update).

      After updating your allocation:
      1. Click Save. A confirmation message will pop up asking if you're sure you want to make this change.
      2. Click **Yes**, then click **Save** again.

       Step 3: Contest Page 

      If you changed the total number of prizes, proceed to update the contest:
      1. Go to the Promotions tab, then click on Contest.
      2. Select your contest type (e.g., Standard, Online, Grand Prize, Floating).

      Step 4: Update Prize Allocation

      1. Locate your specific contest. 
      2. On the left side, click on the Prize tab.

      3. Double-click the prize name under **Linked Prize** to update the allocation.

      4. Update the Total # to Assign to This Contest and the Allocation Category # Assigned to This Contest* (e.g., update from 20 to 25).
      5. Click **Apply**.

      Step 5: Save Changes

      Finally, make sure to save your changes.
