To restrict a liner to certain hours, use one of two methods. **Option 1**: "Restrict Studio to Current Daypart" to limit access. **Option 2**: Adjust by flight dates and time.
If you want to limit when a liner can run, there are two effective methods to achieve this. Follow the steps below for each option.Option 1: Restrict User Access by Daypart
1. Navigate to User Management
Go to the User Management section of your system.
2. Look Up User
Find and select the user you wish to restrict.
3. Restrict Studio to Current Daypart
Click on the option labeled "Restrict Studio to Current Daypart."
Save Changes
Save your changes. This will limit the user’s ability to view or work outside of their assigned daypart.
By using this method, you ensure that the user can only operate during designated hours.
Option 2: Schedule Liners for Specific Days and Times
1. Access the Programming Section
Go to the Programming section and select Liners.
Note: This step can be applied to any programming elements, not just liners (e.g., promos, PSAs, etc.).
2. Create Liner Information
Create your liner as usual by filling in the necessary details.
3. Script & Copy
On the right side of the script/copy box, you will find options for flight dates, times, and days. Adjust these settings to specify when the liner should run.
4. Add Additional Groups of Copy (if needed)
If you want to add more variations of the copy, click on "Add Additional Groups of Copy, click here" on the far right as many times as necessary.
This method allows you to customize the schedule of the liner based on your specific needs.
