Create a Signup Page

These steps will go through the creation of a simple signup page in PromoSuite Mail.

1. In the left menu, click Signups to expand & then click Create & Edit Signup Page
   
2. The minimum requirements are to give the signup page a name & then setting up the list these entries will go into.  Clicking on the plus icon will default to give the signup page name as the list name (this is how you can find these entries when sending an email to this specific list).
    
   1. If you do not need this signup to expire, you do not have to fill in an end date, it will default for 12/31/2099 upon saving.
   2. For Type of Page, Email List Signup is the default & will be available to use for sending emails directly to these entries.  If you do not plan on sending emails to this particular signup page, you can select Contest Registration.
3. If you want to receive an email every time somebody fills out the form (or if you are using Multi Line custom question), you would fill out the email address in the Email Address Of Person To Receive Notifications field & check the box for Signup Notification.
4. Scrolling to the bottom, you will find the form creation section.  You can click & drag the desired fields from the right-hand menu into the left-hand box.  You can re-order the fields clicking & dragging the up/down arrow icon for that field.  If you want a field to be required to fill out, you can click the red toggle button to green.
   
5. You can add custom questions by clicking on the Custom Fields bar & then clicking Create Custom Fields.
   1. This will give you a popup to first select what type of field you want to add.
      
   2. The next screen will give you the fields to add the question & answers.  You are able to add up to 99 different answers.  The fields will start expanding as you start typing in the last field.
      
   3. Once you finish adding all of the answers & click Create, it will add that custom field to the bottom of the fields list, which you can then click & drag into the form section.
6. Once the form is finish, click on the Save button in the top-right corner.
7. After saving, this will give the URL of the signup page that you can use as a link or iframe into your website.
