vPPO >vPromotions>vPro/vTrade. So, if they have all 3 products then their SSO will be their vPPO credentials.
- For the products they SHOULD have, approve them as usual OR find the deleted user and set the status to "New." Then navigate to the New Accounts UI and approve them
- For the products they should NOT have, ensure they are denied within the New Accounts UI
If user has vPromotions but also needs vPPO:
If a user signs up for an account and they only choose vPromotions, they will be in the approvals list in vPromotions, BUT accounts will still be created for the other products…but those accounts are marked as deleted - and will never be seen in account approvals for those products.
IF they need access to vPPO…you will need to locate that person’s account in vPPO…go to People, Type in the person’s name, hit Search, then click “Show Deleted”. You’ll find the user. Click their name to open their My Account page. Choose their Firm, then, mark them as Approved. Go to the Add Person Stations option in Maintenance. Type that person’s name in, click the first one that shows (if there’s multiple) and assign the stations from their market. Once that is done, they should be able to access the orange dots to go back and forth between products.
(If a user signs up for an account and they DO choose specific products, they will show up in the account approvals for each product they checked when signing up, and will need to be approved in both. Easy.)
If there are multiple accounts, you need to contact myself or Doc and we will make sure the valid one is selected and we will work with Dev on getting the other bad records deleted.
The ONLY time transfer should be used, is for users who have existing vPromotions accounts and no vPPO account. Basically, this is anyone who had an account before July 27, 2020. You will NOT need to transfer accounts that were created after July 27, 2020.
(PLEASE make sure the user does not already exist in vPPO - CHECK DELETED ACCOUNTS)
