Synching your Outlook Email to SELL

During configuration we connected your @promosuite.com email address (your Microsoft / Outlook account) to SELL.  This ensures that SELL can sync email exchanges between you and our customers to their contact records (in SELL).

IMPORTANT

The Sell email integration mirrors your Outlook account, so if an email is deleted from Outlook, it will also be deleted in SELL.

For this reason, please do not not delete customer emails you have received or sent.  Organizing emails in other folders is perfectly fine. 

You may also convert any email to a note, which ensures it stays present even if the original email is deleted. 

To do so:

1. Go to the contact record and find the email

2. Click the three vertical dots, then click "Convert to note"

If you do not see emails synching to contact records in SELL, there are a few scenarios to consider:

  • The email to/from the customer was deleted
  • The customer did not send the email from the address in their SELL Contact record
  • Misconfigured permissions settings
