Details
- Introduction to Quick Filters: Presentation introduces the "quick filters" feature in vPromotions, describing it as an organizational tool that allows users to display specific criteria on their calendars.
- Creating a New Quick Filter: To initiate the creation of a new filter, the user must navigate to the right side of the screen and click the blue box with a white plus sign. Within the resulting pop-up window, the user is required to enter a filter name, which is the only mandatory field, as demonstrated by the presenter naming the sample filter "filter time".
- Configuring Filter Parameters: Once the filter is named, the user can configure the specific criteria for the filter, such as selecting a station like "Quad X" and choosing relevant categories. If the user wants to filter by a specific client, they can search for the client's name and add them to the filter, followed by clicking the "save" button to finalize the configuration.
- Applying the Quick Filter: After saving the new filter, a green check mark appears in the top right corner of the screen to indicate success. The user can then apply the filter by selecting it from the drop-down menu, which updates the calendar to show only the selected items, such as contests and events for the chosen station.
- Clearing Active Filters: If the user desires to return to a full calendar view, they can select the "clear filters" option from the drop-down menu, which removes the active filter and restores the default calendar display.
- Managing and Deleting Saved Filters: To edit or remove existing filters, the user must access the settings menu by clicking on their name in the top right corner of the screen and selecting "my quick filters" under user settings. From this list, the user can click a pencil icon to modify the filter's name or categories, or click a red trash can icon to delete it, with both actions confirmed by a green check mark upon completion.
