In vPPO, it's easy to make a change to a currently running order. There is a revision process that walks you through the needed changes. As mentioned in the video, the start date shouldn't be changed in a revision process. And if you want to simply extend the end date you would use the extend process, which is also simple and we have a separate Quick Tip for that. And keep in mind if the order you plan to work on is past it's end date and is no longer running, the extend process wouldn't apply. However the copy process would save you some time there. We have a separate Quick Tip for that, as well. But to revise and order which is currently running - maybe the script needs to be changed or the client wants to add a jingle - the revision process makes those changes simple. Locate the spot in vPPO through the folders in your Left-Hand Navigation or through the Search tool. Then, you will use the check box and Revision button to bring the request to The To Do List. With the status of Revision set, you will need to click the client name and then edit the order with the new information. Any revision will not be submitted until you have posted some relevant instructions in the Request Blog.     ### **Summary** Training session covered vPPO revision processes for active orders and multi-spot updates via standardized system workflows. **Defining Revision Scope** Revisions apply exclusively to currently active orders needing modification. This differentiates from extending existing dates or copying expired production orders. **Initiating System Revisions** Users must locate the target spot and select the revision button to begin edits. Undoing accidental navigation allows users to return to their inbox. **Processing Order Changes** Teams must document changes in the blog section before submitting updated scripts and terms. Multiple spot adjustments are handled through a consolidated interface view. ### **Details** - **Scope of the vPPO Revision Process**: The revision process is specifically intended for orders that are currently running and require modifications. This procedure is distinct from the "extend date" process, which is used solely for extending an order's duration, and the "copy PO" option, which is used for orders that have already expired. - **Initiating a Revision**: To start a revision, users must locate the specific spot using the on-air folder or the search function. Once found, they should check the empty box next to the client name to highlight the row in yellow, then click the "Revise" box located in the upper left corner. If a user navigates to the "action is required" page by mistake, they can select the checkbox and click the "undo" button to return to their inbox. - **Modifying and Submitting Production Orders**: After accessing the "action is required" page, clicking the client name opens the production order for editing. Users should utilize the blog post section to document the requested changes so that all assigned team members are informed. Following this, users can modify details such as the script, run dates, contract terms, spot length, or rotation patterns. It is noted that the due date should remain unchanged unless the end date is also being adjusted; once edits are complete, the user must click "submit" to move the order into revision status. - **Handling Multi-Spot Revisions**: When a user needs to revise multiple spots on a single order, they can click on the spot count to narrow the view to those specific spots. By highlighting all spots requiring changes and selecting "Revise," the user can open the relevant production orders.
