How to Reset a User's Password

 

 

 

Log in to PromoSuite Next and follow the steps below to create a new user account.

Start by clicking on the Security (lock) icon in the upper right corner and click User Management.

When you arrive at the User Management screen, you have two options search for the user whose account you need to unlock.

 

Option 1

Search by: username, first name or last name. If the user exists in the system, it will retrieve their user account and profile information.

Option 2

Click on the Folder icon on the toolbar and search through a list of Users, filtering the list by first or last name as needed. When you locate the user, click their name to retrieve their user account and profile information.

Once You Have Identified The User and Have Their Profile On Screen

Look for and click the blue Reset Password button at the bottom of the page.

When you have the Users profile pulled up, look for the blue reset password button at the bottom of the page.

Click to reset the password, and on the resulting screen check "Send Password to user by Email" and click "Set Password."

At this point the password reset is complete and the user will receive an email with their temporary password within a minute or two!

If the user does not receive an email, the first thing to do is look at their profile and make sure that the email entered is correct.

If the email is correct, have them check their spam/trash folders before you re-attempt to reset their password again.
